At Sequoia GEO, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital marketing services that help contractors grow their businesses. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for our services. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms of this policy.

General Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital marketing services, which involve significant time, expertise, and resources from the moment work begins, most services are non-refundable once work has commenced. However, we understand that circumstances may arise, and we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis with fairness and transparency.

Service-Specific Refund Terms

Setup Fees

Setup fees, onboarding fees, and initial consultation fees are non-refundable once work has begun. These fees cover the time and resources invested in understanding your business, setting up accounts, and developing initial strategies.

Monthly Retainer Services

Monthly retainer fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable once the billing period begins. If you cancel services mid-month, you will not receive a prorated refund for the remainder of that month. Services will continue through the end of the paid billing period.

Project-Based Services

For project-based services (website design, strategy development, etc.), refunds are only available if we have not yet begun work. Once work has commenced, you may cancel the project, but you will be charged for work completed to date based on the percentage of project completion.

Advertising Spend

Advertising costs paid to third-party platforms (Google Ads, Google Local Services, Facebook Ads, etc.) are non-refundable. These funds are paid directly to the advertising platforms and are outside of Sequoia GEO's control. Our management fees for these services are separate and subject to the terms above.

Consulting and Strategy Sessions

Fees for consulting sessions, strategy calls, and audits are non-refundable once the session has been conducted or the deliverable has been provided.

Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

To cancel services, you must provide written notice via email to [email protected] at least 30 days before your next billing date. Verbal cancellations or cancellations through other channels are not accepted.

Cancellation Effective Date

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to services through the end of the paid period. No refunds will be issued for the current billing period.

Early Termination of Contracts

If you are on a fixed-term contract (3-month, 6-month, 12-month, etc.) and wish to terminate early, you may be subject to an early termination fee as specified in your service agreement. This fee compensates for the discounted rate provided for committing to a longer term.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

Service Not Delivered

If we fail to deliver agreed-upon services due to our fault, you may be eligible for a refund or credit. You must notify us in writing within 30 days of the issue, and we will work with you to resolve the matter fairly.

Technical Issues

If technical issues on our end prevent us from delivering services, we will either provide a credit for the affected period or extend your service period at no additional cost.

Mutual Agreement

In rare circumstances, we may agree to a refund or partial refund by mutual written agreement. Such agreements will be made on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of Sequoia GEO.

No Performance Guarantees

Digital marketing results depend on many factors, including market conditions, competition, platform algorithm changes, and your business operations. We do not guarantee specific results, rankings, traffic levels, or revenue increases. Failure to achieve desired results is not grounds for a refund, provided we have delivered the agreed-upon services in good faith.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue with us directly, we reserve the right to immediately suspend services and pursue collection of any outstanding amounts. Chargeback fees and collection costs may be added to your account balance.

We encourage you to contact us first if you have any billing concerns. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Changes will apply to services purchased after the effective date of the change.
